Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain new integrations alongside existing MuleSoft applications.
  • Provide Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3) production support, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues in real-time across environments.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
  • Deliver minor enhancements and bug fixes as part of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business stakeholders.
  • Maintain a support-oriented mindset, ensuring high availability and reliability of integration services.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders across geographies.
  • Participate in deployment activities, validations, and post-deployment support.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for support processes, configurations, and resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Mule 4, Anypoint Platform, and API-led connectivity architecture.
  • Proficient in DataWeave, RAML, MUnit, and CloudHub.

  • Hands-on experience with:

  • MUnit test cases development and execution.

  • Batch job processing and pagination scenarios.
  • Load balancer (DLB) mappings and routings.
  • Building complex Mule flows using Scopes, Error Handling strategies, Message Filters, and Routers.

  • Integration with various data sources like Message Queues, Exchanges, Schedulers, HTTP, and Cloud Databases.

  • Strong understanding of REST and SOAP Web Services.

  • Experience in production support environments, ideally within managed services.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and ticketing tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
  • Experience in applying security to Mule APIs deployed on CloudHub using OAuth 1.0 and 2.0.
  • Awareness of Splunk for log analysis and dashboard integration.
  • Understanding of memory consumption, CPU utilization, and auto-scaling of workers and vCores based on load.
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional departments.

Certifications

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 (MCD Level 1) Mandatory
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 2 (MCD Level 2) Preferred

Preferred Experience

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in MuleSoft development and support.
  • Prior experience working in Australian or APAC time zones.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and monitoring tools like Splunk and New Relic.
  • Experience providing technical production application support in a 167 rotational calendar.
