About the Opportunity

IT Services & Consulting — Integration and API Management sector. We deliver enterprise-grade API-led integrations and digital transformation solutions for large enterprises across finance, insurance, retail, and telecom. This is an on-site role in India focused on building resilient, secure, and scalable MuleSoft-based integration solutions to accelerate clients' cloud and hybrid modernization initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test and deploy MuleSoft integrations and APIs using Mule 4 and Anypoint Platform following API-led connectivity principles.
  • Author DataWeave transformations, implement message routing, error handling, and transaction management for high-throughput integrations.
  • Create RAML/OpenAPI-based API specifications and implement API Manager policies for security (OAuth2, JWT), throttling and SLA controls.
  • Migrate and refactor legacy Mule 3 integrations to Mule 4, ensuring backward compatibility and performance improvements.
  • Integrate with backend systems (databases, SOAP/REST services, JMS/Kafka) and support on-premise and CloudHub deployments.
  • Implement unit/integration tests, CI/CD pipelines, and observability (logging/metrics/alerts) to maintain production reliability.
Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proven hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Anypoint Studio in production projects.
  • Strong expertise in Mule 4 and DataWeave for complex data transformations.
  • Experience authoring RAML or OpenAPI (Swagger) API specifications and implementing API Manager policies.
  • Solid knowledge of REST and SOAP Web Services and integration patterns.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and automated testing for integration pipelines.
  • On-site availability in India and ability to collaborate directly with client teams and stakeholders.

Preferred

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer (Mule 4) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid deployment models.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and event-streaming platforms (Kafka).
