Position Title: VMC Operator – Tool Room

Location: Bhosari, Pune

Department: Tool Room

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented VMC Operator to join our Tool Room team. The selected candidate will handle machining, die maintenance, and precision component manufacturing using VMC machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and set up VMC machines as per job requirements
  • Work on tool room components, jigs, fixtures, and dies
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models
  • Select appropriate tools and offsets for machining operations
  • Edit programs (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi) if required
  • Inspect components using precision instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.)
  • Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety and 5S standards
  • Support tool and die modification or maintenance activities

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with VMC machine operations
  • Basic CNC programming knowledge
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Knowledge of tool steels, cutters, and machining parameters.
