Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior ERP Data Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing data models for SAP and other ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, etc.). This role will focus on ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance to support business processes and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, scalable data models for SAP (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA) and other ERP systems to support business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and IT teams to gather and translate requirements into effective data models.
• Optimize data structures for performance, ensuring seamless integration across ERP modules and external systems.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across ERP platforms.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and documentation for ERP data models.
• Support data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives during ERP implementations or upgrades.
• Analyze and resolve complex data-related issues, ensuring alignment with business processes and reporting needs.
• Stay updated on ERP trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance data modeling strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent proven experience.
• 7+ years of experience in data modeling, with at least 5 years focused on ERP systems.
• Proven expertise in modeling SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA, with hands-on experience in modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, or PP.
• Experience with other ERP systems (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor, NetSuite) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of relational database design, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, PowerDesigner, or similar).
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data integration tools, and BI/reporting platforms (e.g., SAP BW, Power BI).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Professional, TOGAF) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based ERP deployments (e.g., SAP on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
