Role Description

  • Design commercial, groundmount and industrial solar PV systems based on client requirements.
  • Conduct load calculations, energy generation forecasts, and shading analysis.
  • Use software tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp etc.) to prepare layouts and detailed designs.
  • Work closely with sales and project teams to prepare technical proposals and BOQs.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and government policies.
  • Optimize system performance while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with on-site teams during installation and commissioning.
  • Update designs as per technological advancements and client feedback.

Qualifications

  • Experience with drone surveying and 3D modeling.
  • Experience in both grid-tied and off-grid solar projects.
  • Familiarity with Net Metering process and utility documentation.
