Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our data team and help build and maintain the data infrastructure from scratch that supports our business intelligence and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, ETL processes, and database management. You will work closely with Business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data is collected, processed, and made accessible for analysis and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Pipeline Development:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses or lakes.
  • Implement data ingestion workflows that ensure high availability and reliability.

2. Database Management:

  • Create and optimize database schemas to support the efficient storage and retrieval of data.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring data integrity and security.

3. Data Integration:

  • Work with data sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party services, to gather and integrate data from various systems.
  • Develop data models and structures that meet the needs of Business analysts.

4. Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate with Business analysts to understand their data requirements and provide the necessary support.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on data projects.

5. Quality Assurance:

  • Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data pipelines.
  • Maintain documentation for data processes, workflows, and architecture.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from NIT, IIT, etc.

· 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R language and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift).
  • Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica).
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or R for data processing and automation.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in e-commerce.
  • Experience in building data infrastructure from scratch that supports business intelligence requirements and tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹343, ₹600,000.00 per year
