Role Description

WordPress Senior Associate (Design & Development)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled professional who can take approved website designs and convert them into fully functional, responsive, and high-quality websites. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in executing Figma/Adobe XD designs into WordPress websites or into hand-coded HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap layouts. This role is focused on precision, speed, and flawless implementation of design concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert approved designs into responsive WordPress or Shopify websites
  • Develop fully responsive websites from scratch using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
  • Customise WordPress themes, templates, plugins, and page builders
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness, page speed optimisation, and SEO-friendly site structure
  • Conduct testing for quality and functionality
  • Collaborate with development, marketing, and content teams to deliver projects on time

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in WordPress development and front-end coding
  • Strong expertise in converting designs into live websites
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
  • Ability to create responsive, cross-browser compatible web layouts
  • Experience using Figma or Adobe XD
  • Good understanding of UI/UX principles
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with WooCommerce
  • Knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator
  • Previous experience in an agency or freelance setting
