  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on all mechanical equipment related to the kiln and cooler sections. This includes diagnosing problems and troubleshooting machinery failures to minimize downtime.
  • Assemble, install, and commission new mechanical systems, parts, and heavy equipment, ensuring all components are fitted with high precision and accuracy.
  • Conduct regular inspections to check for proper function and safety compliance. After repairs, test and commission equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, as well as welding equipment, to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components and parts as needed.
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to guide installation and repair work.
  • Handle the maintenance of equipment such as belt conveyors, fans, hydraulic systems, and mills, which are all part of the kiln's operation.
  • Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and any mechanical issues identified.
  • Work effectively with engineers, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and improve plant performance.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
