Role Overview

Lovely Professional University is seeking an accomplished Sales & Marketing Leader with 15–20 years of experience to drive strategic growth, develop high-performance teams, and establish the university as a premier brand in national and international markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales strategy, brand development, lead generation, team leadership, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute long-term sales and marketing strategies aligned with university goals.

Lead large cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, digital campaigns, and admissions.

Drive organizational growth through new market development and partnerships.

Sales & Business Development

Achieve student enrollment targets through structured sales planning.

Identify and open new markets (domestic and international) to drive student acquisition.

Build alliances with schools, consultants, corporates, and academic partners.

Track sales performance metrics and implement corrective strategies.

Marketing & Brand Management

Oversee digital marketing, performance marketing, SEO/SEM, and social media campaigns.

Strengthen the LPU brand through communication strategy and public relations.

Guide content, events, and promotional campaigns across channels.

Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and demand forecasting.

Team Development

Mentor, guide, and manage large sales & marketing teams.

Foster a high-performance, target-driven culture.

Drive training and capability-building initiatives.

Operations & Reporting

Monitor lead management systems (CRM).

Ensure planning, budgeting, and ROI evaluations for all campaigns.

Present performance reports to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management (preferred from reputed institutions).

15–20 years of progressive experience in sales & marketing roles.

Proven leadership experience in large educational institutions, telecom, BFSI, FMCG, EdTech, or service sector.

Strong experience in digital marketing, revenue planning, and large-team management.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
