Location: Remote / Flexible

Commitment: Part-time (20 hours per week)

About Mumtree

Mumtree is a growing D2C brand focused on high-quality wooden kids' play equipment, Montessori-inspired furniture, and educational products. We sell primarily through Shopify and use Meta ads + CRM-based nurturing. We are expanding fast and looking for a skilled Shopify developer who can help optimize our storefront, improve conversions, and support new product launches.

Role Overview

We are looking for a part-time Shopify Developer who can manage theme customization, improve site performance, and build new sections/pages aligned with our brand's minimal and kid-friendly aesthetic. The ideal candidate is experienced with CRO, speed optimization, and implementing custom features on Shopify.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customize and maintain our Shopify theme (Dawn/other premium themes).
  • Build new sections, landing pages, and product page layouts for promotions, collections, and campaigns.
  • Implement CRO improvements (A/B testing, layout optimizations).
  • Optimize store speed (image optimization, script reduction, lazy loading, etc.).
  • Integrate and troubleshoot apps (reviews, upsell, CRM, payment, tracking tools).
  • Set up tracking: Meta Pixel, UTM, events, GA4.
  • Fix layout bugs across desktop and mobile.
  • Support new product launches with updated PDPs, bundles, and custom options.
  • Ensure SEO best practices in theme structure.
  • Coordinate with design/marketing teams for landing pages and campaigns.

Required Skills

  • 2–4 years experience with Shopify development.
  • Strong in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid.
  • Experience with Shopify 2.0, metafields, dynamic sections.
  • Good understanding of Shopify apps, integrations, and third-party tools.
  • Ability to create clean, responsive layouts.
  • Familiar with speed optimization and CRO practices.
  • Experience with D2C/e-commerce brands is a bonus.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver quick turnarounds.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with kids/parenting/D2C brands.
  • Figma-to-Shopify experience.
  • Knowledge of Klaviyo email flows & popups.
  • Understanding of funnels (lead magnets, landing pages, bundles).

Compensation

  • Part-time / hourly or monthly retainer.
  • Flexible working hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹5, ₹7,000.00 per month
