Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, configure, and maintain SD-WAN solutions (e.g., Viptela, Versa, VeloCloud, Fortinet, etc.). VeloCloud is preferred
  • Design and configuration of SD branch, experience on orchestration platform
  • Troubleshoot SD-WAN overlay and underlay connectivity issues
  • Monitor network performance and provide proactive recommendations
  • Integrate SD-WAN with existing WAN infrastructure (MPLS, internet links, VPN)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, cloud, data center)
  • CPE and virtual aggregator installation and configuration
  • Security, application prioritization and bandwidth aggregation
  • Implementation of Hub and Spoke (Client to Site and Site to Site - Mesh, Anycast

    network setup)
  • Conduct root cause analysis for incidents
  • Maintain network documentation and SOPs
  • Assist in WAN to SD-WAN migration projects
  • Ensure compliance with network security best practices

Technical Skills Required:

  • Experience with SD-WAN (Viptela, Versa, VeloCloud, Fortinet)
  • Proficient in routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
  • Knowledge of IPsec, GRE, NAT, QoS, VPN
  • Familiar with firewalls and network security
  • Experience using network monitoring tools
  • Understanding of WAN redundancy and failover
  • Cloud connectivity knowledge (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented
  • Adaptable and quick to learn new technologies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in IT, CS, or related field
  • Certifications: CCNP, NSE, VCP-NV
  • 47 years in networking with 3+ years in SD-WAN
