We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-oriented L3 Engineer with 9+ years of in-depth experience in Cisco Viptela SD-WAN technology to join our team. In this senior role, you will be a trusted advisor and technical leader, responsible for planning, designing, deploying, and troubleshooting complex Viptela SD-WAN solutions for India & SAARC public sector BFSI, IT and ITES, enterprise-grade customers. You are expected to possess a masterful understanding and experience in Cisco Viptela SDWAN architecture, plan, design, deployment, troubleshooting, configuration, and best practices, and contribute significantly to delivering exceptional SD-WAN solutions that drive business value.

**Responsibilities**:
**Planning and Design**:

- Lead the planning and design of highly scalable and secure Viptela SD-WAN architectures for multi-site, multi-cloud, and global network deployments.
- Deeply understand and translate complex business requirements into detailed technical designs, considering factors like traffic prioritization, redundancy strategies, security policies, multi-tenancy, segmentations etc.
- Develop comprehensive documentation of designs, including network diagrams, configuration guides, and testing plans, that adhere to industry best practices.

**Deployment and Implementation**
- Independently lead the deployment and implementation of large-scale Viptela SD-WAN solutions, utilizing automation tools and scripts to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Configure and manage multi-tiered Viptela vEdge deployments, leveraging advanced routing protocols and path selection mechanisms for optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation to guarantee the smooth functioning, security, and performance of all SDWAN configurations.

**Troubleshooting and Support**:

- Serve as the go-to expert for troubleshooting complex network issues not limited to Viptela SDWAN solutions but also for underlying WAN networks.
- Ability to utilize advanced tools and techniques like vAnalytics, troubleshooting logs, and packet captures. '
- Analyze network telemetry data, performance metrics, and security logs to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact users.
- Provide high-level technical support to internal and external stakeholders on all aspects of Viptela SD-WAN, acting as a trusted advisor and problem solver.
- Stay ahead of the curve by continuously learning about the latest Viptela software releases, features, and best practices through technical certifications and industry engagements.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Share your extensive knowledge by mentoring junior engineers, conducting internal training sessions, and contributing to the development of a robust knowledge base specifically focused on Cisco Viptela SD-WAN.
- Actively seek opportunities to optimize existing Viptela SD-WAN deployments, suggesting and implementing performance, security, and cost-efficiency improvements.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team by actively participating in knowledge sharing initiatives and staying updated on industry trends.

**Qualifications**:

- 9+ years of demonstrably successful experience as an L3 Network Engineer with a deep specialization in Cisco Viptela SD-WAN technology. (preferred)
- Proven track record of planning, designing, deploying, and troubleshooting complex Viptela SD-WAN solutions for large-scale enterprise environments.
- Expert-level understanding of Cisco Viptela architecture, configuration, features, and best practices, including vManage, Smart Deploy, and advanced routing protocols.
- Strong grasp of networking protocols and technologies relevant to SD-WAN (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS).
- Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex Viptela-specific network issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, coupled with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, leading and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Possession of a valid Cisco Professional Certification (e.g., CCNP Enterprise, CCIE) is a strong plus.
