The Private Markets Master Data Management team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of private markets master data for the Aladdin and eFront communities. We partner with product and engineering teams to deliver world-class service to Limited Partners and internal users. Our team is known for being passionate about data, solving complex problems, and constantly innovating to deliver better solutions for our clients.
We are currently seeking a Data Master for master data onboarding, data standardization and delivery.
Key responsibilities include:- Identify and maintain master entities and standard master data
- Define rules for configuration of new fund and asset records
- Develop and maintain tools for master data identification and duplication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and requirements, and develop solutions to address business requirements
- Perform checks and identify corrections needed in master data and data delivery process
- Participate in onboarding by identifying entities, and work with different teams to build and onboard new entities
- Support system integrations and migrations, to ensure seamless data transitions
- Work with different internal teams and provide support, analysis and reporting to ensure clear and accurate private market data universe
- Bachelor or Master's degree (preferably in Economics, Organizational Sciences, or related Financial background)
- Advanced user of MS Office (especially advanced Excel functions, e.g. V-lookups, Macros)
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, PowerBI, or other tools for data manipulation and analysis is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- 1-5 years related experience in financial services or data management.
