Inviting applications for the role of – OTC Assistant Manager
We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge and understanding of entire credit management process with expertise managing a team of credit analysts. In this role, you will be expected to work on strict deadlines, in a business environment while being a good team motivator. SAP knowledge and experience in generating reports from SAP would be an added advantage. Should be open to work in any shift as per the business requirement
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing multi-functional teams including Billing, Cash Application, Customer Master Data (CMD), Strategy & Policy, Credit Risk Management, and Collections.
• Manage and provide guidance to FLMs and their teams, ensuring consistent execution of day-to-day operations, SLA/KPI adherence, and process accuracy.
• Serve as the single point of accountability for respective areas of operations within the tower, driving end-to-end process ownership.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize AR, reduce DSO, improve cash flow, and ensure compliance across the OTC tower.
• Monitor operational performance metrics, KPIs, and SLAs, analyzing trends and driving corrective or improvement actions.
• Partner with other towers (P2P, R2R) to ensure smooth cross-functional processes, seamless data flow, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Drive process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and standardization efforts across the OTC tower.
• Oversee month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring timely billing, reconciliations, reporting, and governance compliance.
• Act as SME for OTC processes, including Billing, Cash Application, CMD, Collections, Write-offs, Order Management, Treasury, and regulatory compliance (SOX, statutory).
• Lead stakeholder management for clients, business partners, and internal teams; provide updates on performance, escalations, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coach, mentor, and develop FLMs and senior team members, ensuring succession planning and capability building.
• Manage strategic escalations, complex disputes, and high-value collections issues, ensuring resolution aligned with company policies.
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance across all processes; support internal and external audit activities.
• Lead cross-regional and global projects, driving adoption of new systems, tools, and process enhancements within OTC.
• Champion a culture of operational excellence, customer-centricity, continuous improvement, and compliance across the tower.
• Budgeting, resource planning, and workforce management for the OTC team, ensuring optimal staffing and utilization.
• Other duties as assigned by Management to include but not limited to account triage, special billing, serve as billing representative for Account Department projects and initiatives, system/software testing and training, etc.
• Provide periodic reporting and insights to senior leadership on AR performance, collections effectiveness, process KPIs, and risk mitigation.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
• B.Com Graduation
• Proven experience in Credit Management and Strategy & Policy
• Relevant years of experience.
Preferred Skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective communication skills – verbal and written
• Follow up/follow through orientation
• Strong analytical and proven problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
• ERP (PeopleSoft/Workday) knowledge and experience is helpful and Front Office systems tailored for staffing industries (i.e. Bullhorn) preferred.
