Sr Engineer I-Testing

What You'll Do

• Build, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans to ensure flawless execution.
• Conduct technical assessments to determine the scope of work for testing requirements.
• Complete detailed test scenarios and accurately report defects.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues, providing detailed information to the development team.
• Work with collaborators from different teams to develop and implement outstanding test plans.
• Mentor junior Software Test Engineers, encouraging positive relationships with collaborators and business partners.
• Find opportunities for adopting innovative technologies and successfully implement them into testing processes.
• Improve automated test scripts and frameworks in C#, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Promote and streamline established testing processes for continuous improvement.
• Prepare time estimates for building options and other project requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in software testing.
• Comprehensive understanding of Software Quality Assurance concepts, guidelines, and procedures.
• Technical skills in any scripting language (Python preferred) and understanding of C++ or C#.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA/Zephyr.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for successful global collaborator engagement.
• Proficiency in software debugging and troubleshooting using industry-standard tools.
• Familiarity with profiling tools like Valgrind and Google Sanitizer.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform tasks efficiently within deadlines.
• Good problem-solving skills to address work-related issues.
• Experience with source control systems.
• Previous background in the gaming sector and testing/validating SDK is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies is advantageous.
