The BU Finance Head Contract Logistics and Cold Chain will be responsible for leading all

financial operations of the Contract Logistics and Cold Chain business units. This includes

financial planning & analysis, business partnering, performance management, strategic investment evaluation, and ensuring strong financial governance and compliance. The role acts as a strategic advisor to the BU leadership and collaborates closely with operations, commercial, and corporate functions to drive profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth.

Role & responsibilities

  • Seasoned finance leader with proven expertise in strategic business partnering, driving pricing decisions, operational efficiency, and supporting new contracts, expansions, and investments.
  • Skilled in financial planning & analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and delivering high-quality MIS dashboards.
  • Strong background in performance management through KPI tracking, cost control, productivity measures, and profitability analysis.
  • Experienced in controllership, ensuring compliance with accounting, tax, and statutory requirements, along with managing audits.
  • Adept at working capital and cash flow management, with a focus on receivables, payables, and inventory optimization.
  • Recognized for team leadership, mentoring, and succession planning, while fostering a culture of accountability and process excellence.
  • Known for strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and strong communication skills with proficiency in ERP and financial modeling tools.
  • Trusted partner in navigating diverse stakeholders across business units and regional functions.

Preferred candidate profile

  • CA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in Contract Logistics / Supply Chain / 3PL industry will be and added advantage.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, operations finance, and commercial business

partnering.

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transport cost structures, and contract pricing mechanisms.
