About Food Pharmer (Revant Himatsingka)

Revant, known to millions as Food Pharmer, is a food activist and a health advocate content creator, and the face behind one of India's largest consumer-awareness campaign on food labels (Label Padhega India). He has exposed misleading claims by top FMCG brands and sparked a national conversation on what we eat.

When 72% of his community voted for him to start his own food brand, he listened. OWN is the people's brand, led by Revant's conviction that every Indian deserves honest, transparent, and healthy food.

Today, Revant continues to educate India on nutrition while anchoring OWN's mission to redefine

how food is made and marketed.

Sr. Copywriter - Social Content

Experience: 6-7 years

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

About the Role:

We're hiring a Creative Director (Social Content) to lead OWN's storytelling voice across Instagram, YouTube, and beyond. You'll bring deep experience writing for social media and digital campaigns, ideally having worked in OTT, brands, or creator ecosystems. This role will steer content ideation, campaign narratives, and platform-native storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build content IP's and set the creative tone and storytelling direction across all digital platforms
  • Lead ideation and scripting for Instagram Reels, YouTube videos (long and short), campaigns, and digital experiments
  • Work closely with the Design and Video teams to turn briefs into powerful creative
  • Translate brand values into scroll-worthy narratives, rituals, memes, and challenger messaging.
  • Review and refine content quality across all social platforms
  • Experiment with formats, hooks, and storytelling styles to increase engagement and cultural relevance

Tools You Must Know:

  • Google Docs, Notion, Figma (for feedback cycles), Gen AI tools
  • Instagram, Reddit, YouTube (as a consumer and content expert)
  • Canva or Adobe for mockup/storyboarding (optional)

What We're Looking For:

  • 6–7 years of experience in writing, creative direction, or content leadership for digital- first brands or platforms
  • Deep understanding of internet culture, platform algorithms, and storytelling formats
  • A strong creative voice with copy that hooks, scripts that retain, and concepts that scale.
  • A personal obsession with fixing the food system, health, or meaningful storytelling is a big plus
