Roles and Responsibility

Senior:

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable test automation framework and manual testing processes

• Develop functional and regression automation code from test case requirements

• Triage, diagnose, report, track, and resolve software quality issues

• Ensure the appropriate testing and monitoring tools/ technologies are configured accordingly with the test objectives/ project team requirements

• Identify required improvements in the test and development processes, make contributions to used automation tools, successfully address specific needs

• Communicate effectively across multiple teams to ensure cohesion and collaboration

Requirements

• 7+ years of proven experience as a Quality Engineer

• 3+ years of experience in building and executing automated tests

• Strong Quality Assurance knowledge: managing testing processes, risk-based testing, testing documentation, and testing techniques.

• Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python

• Strong Test Automation fundamentals and hands on experience with automation tools at the End to End, API and Unit testing levels (i.e: Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, or similar)

• Experience with monitoring tools and performance testing tools.

• Strong Experience in database and ETL testing, preferably with MSSQL, IBM Db2, MariaDB, or SAP ASE/Sybase DB. Experience using QuerySurge is a plus.

• Experience with test automation within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar

• Knowledge of test case management using qTest or similar

• Excellent spoken and written English

• Strong desire to learn and improve

A significant advantage would be

• ISTQB Foundation Certification

• Experience with Mobile testing, including automation

• Experience or familiarity with Model Driven Testing

• Experience with test case optimization concepts, including Combinatorial Testing and Orthogonal Array Testing

• Experience with Hexawise, ConformIQ or similar tools

• Experience in an Agile development environment
