Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
Chassis Engineer
with a strong background in
commodity delivery
within the automotive domain. While experience in
brakes (calipers, discs, boosters, ABS/ESC)
is highly preferred, expertise in other chassis commodities (suspension, steering, axles) will also be considered. The candidate will be responsible for design, development, supplier coordination, and delivery of chassis systems to meet performance, cost, and timing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver
    chassis components (brakes preferred)
    from concept through to production release.
  • Collaborate with
    design teams, suppliers, and testing teams
    to ensure robust engineering delivery.
  • Conduct
    DFMEA, DVP, validation, and sign-off
    activities for chassis parts.
  • Ensure
    vehicle installation feasibility
    and compliance with safety/performance regulations.
  • Manage suppliers for
    quality, cost, timing, and technical delivery
    .
  • Utilize relevant tools (
    3DX/CATIA, PDM, DVP systems
    ) for design and release.
  • Support
    build phases, issue resolution, and launch activities
    .

Required Skills:

  • 6–9 years in
    chassis commodity delivery
    (brakes, suspension, steering, or axles).
  • Strong knowledge of
    brake system design & validation
    (preferred).
  • Experience in
    supplier management
    and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiar with
    FMEA, DVP, and automotive quality standards
    .
  • Hands-on with
    3DX/CATIA and PLM systems
    .
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
