What we are looking for:

The right candidate shall be responsible for designing and developing the powertrain systems for electric vehicles. He/she shall work as a strong Individual contributor, guiding team & loves working with cross functional teams as well.

What you will own and do:

  • Design PCB layout from initial specification through completion as per compliance standards and product design constraints
  • Generate footprints with respect to IPC standards and business specific practices.
  • Create and maintain library of part

Vehicle Dynamics:

  • Analyze and improve the vehicle's dynamic performance through powertrain tuning.
  • Work on torque vectoring strategies to enhance vehicle stability and handling.
  • Collaborate with suspension and chassis engineers to achieve optimal vehicle dynamics.
  • Generate all supporting documentation, drawings and collateral.
  • Implement design to satisfy DFM.
  • Work independently and proactively with engineers to meet deadlines.
  • Work with PCB fab vendors for manufacturability, PCB stack-up and costs.
  • Closely liaise with other departments including HW designers
  • Liaise with Factory Production Engineering and Test Engineering
  • Support manufacturing during new product introduction
  • Maintain adequate knowledge in relevant technical development.
  • Liaise with suppliers and service providers, including approvals organizations.
  • Comply with Company standards & procedures.

What you will bring to us:

  • Min. 6 to 8years of experience in PCB layout design.
  • Experience in Altium PCB layout tool is must.
  • Understand PCB manufacturing process, technology and surface mount assembly process.
  • Hand on experience on PCB design for compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with CAM tools like CAM350 to verify PCB design.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in (Electrical/Electronics & related fields).
  • 7+ years of experience in product management (Gone through at least 1-2 product life cycles
