Job Description:

Experience: 5 -10 Years ( Oil & Gas )

Electrical Designer is responsible for the design from the concept to detail engineering.

Responsibilities will include implementing project policies, systems & procedures. Coordinating

with the Lead Engineer, studying specifications and procedures for engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Designer- E3D Software Experience is must.
  • Electrical Designer with experience of 5-8 years in Physical Design in Offshore Oil &Gas sector.
  • Experienced in cable tray routing, underground cable routing, grounding & lightning protection, Lighting design etc. Knowledge of lighting calculation, tray / trench sizing calculation etc.
  • Experienced in 3D modelling of Cable Route/Lighting/Electrical equipment with PDMS / E3D/ SP3D (S3D)/ PDS, extraction of 2D layout from 3D model and 2D layout with AutoCAD / MicroStation / Smart Sketch.
  • Prior experience as checker/reviewer for electrical design deliverables.
  • Knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA, IEEE and other international codes

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 05- 8 years of domain experience required.
  • Offshore Experience is Mandatory

Software:

  • E3D
  • PDMS

Technical and Business Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral English skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning and coordination, People Management skills.
  • Strong technical, prioritization and management skills.
  • Good communication, influencing and interface skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
  • Experience in Engineering Design software programs such as: Revit MEP, Navisworks.
