Z/OS System Engineer

Work Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Pune Mumbai

Salary Upto 11-12 LPA

GCM Level: 5,6,7

Primary Skill: Mainframe System Programmer not developer

Role: Install, upgrade, RSU maintenance, and administer z/OS. Perform changes within Company regulations and security standards. Assist with testing, implementation, and installation of new/improved systems, as well as product upgrades. Attend meetings and interact regularly with management, team, and clients to continuously improve services. Participate in On-Call rotation schedule.

Responsibilities:

1. IPL support,

2. Resolve JES2/3 issues, TSO/ISPF CLIST/REXX PROC maintenance,

3. MVS Tuning, Managing parmlib,

4. LPAR creation

5. SMPE - Receive/Apply/User mod/Exit management

6. z/OS installation and upgrade

7. ISV product Installations and upgrades such as CA1,CA7,CA11,Syncsort,File-Aid,Abend-Aid, Mainview, System Automation, ASG and BMC products. Etc ..
