Role & responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases (manual and automated) based on requirements and specifications.
  • Perform API testing, functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and performance testing.
  • Write and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript, Selenium, and Cypress and Backend Test cases in Pytest.
  • Detect, log, and track bugs using JIRA and maintain traceability through tools like Bitbucket.
  • Collaborate with the development team to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Work in an Agile environment and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to identify root causes, solutions, and testing gaps.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation and API testing.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Pytest, Selenium, and Cypress.
  • Experience in writing test cases and executing testing processes in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Good understanding of QA methodologies, testing types (smoke, end to end, regression, functional, integration, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Bitbucket, and similar tools for bug tracking and version control.
  • Familiar with RESTful APIs and testing tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly understand technical and product requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience or knowledge of Cucumber, JUnit, Gherkin, and Avocado frameworks.
  • Exposure to BDD/TDD environments.
  • ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
