About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on and curious Tech Lab Engineer to design, build, and maintain experimental environments and prototypes that help our organization explore emerging technologies and validate new ideas. As a key member of our Innovation Lab or R&D team, youll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools, collaborate with forward-thinking teams, and bring future-focused solutions to life in a sandbox environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain lab environments for testing emerging technologies, frameworks, and hardware.
  • Build prototypes, testbeds, and simulation environments to validate new concepts.
  • Evaluate new tools, platforms, devices, and software for feasibility and innovation potential.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, architects, and product leads.
  • Document lab setups, test results, and technical insights in an organized and accessible manner.
  • Ensure lab environments are secure, up-to-date, and aligned with organizational standards.
  • Develop automation scripts or tools to streamline testing and experimentation.
  • Participate in pilot projects and support scale-up efforts based on lab results.
  • Contribute to the technology scouting process by researching and recommending new solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in innovation labs, proof-of-concept development, or rapid prototyping environments.
  • Familiarity with IoT devices, edge computing, robotics, AR/VR, or AI/ML tools.
  • Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity and lab network segmentation best practices.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies or rapid iteration frameworks like Lean Startup.
