The selected candidate will play a key role inSensor integrationPerception algorithm developmentDeveloping and scaling the lab's infrastructureDevelop an Autonomous software stackKey ResponsibilitiesSoftware Stack DevelopmentContribute to developing modular software stacks for sensor data acquisition, preprocessing, and perception tasks.Build toward a unified software framework for vehicle-level autonomy that can be reused across multiple experiments and platforms.Lab Development & IntegrationSupport end-to-end setup of the Autonomous Mobility Lab, including hardware selection, software installation, and system integration.Integrate sensors such as Li DAR, camera, radar , and other modules, ensuring functionality of the lab at any time.Future-Proofing & Innovationa. Participate in ideation and prototyping of new lab equipment, such as HIL for AV, Lab car for AV & more.b. Explore emerging technologies and contribute ideas for lab enhancements aligned with future trends in autonomous mobility.Desired Skills & QualificationsEducational Background : B. E./B. Tech or M. E./M. Tech in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields.Technical Expertise :Proficiency in ROS (Robot Operating System) , Python, C++, and sensor integration.Familiarity with tools like RViz, Gazebo, ROS2 , and data acquisition frameworks.Experience working with Li DAR, radar, camera , and embedded systems is highly desirable.Exposure to SLAM, sensor fusion, object detection , or related ADAS algorithms is a bonus.Strong foundation with embedded systemsCommunication protocolsOther Skills :Strong documentation and communication skills.Project management skillsTeam management skillsSelf-driven, highly organised, and capable of working independentlyAgile to work with small teams and creating maximum impact
