About the Role

The
Application Solution Architect
will be part of Lam India's Data Analytics and Sciences (LIDAS) team — a Center of Excellence (CoE) focused on delivering advanced analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency across Global Operations.

This role resides in the
Automation Group
, driving
intelligent automation
,
AI integration
, and
end-to-end enterprise application solutions
to enable Lam's global business growth and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business processes to identify automation and optimization opportunities.
• Design
  end-to-end scalable application and automation architectures
  , integrating Power Platform, AI, RPA tools, and enterprise systems.
• Implement solutions aligned with
  Agentic Process Automation (Hyper & Intelligent Automation)
  concepts involving AI agents and multi-bot architecture.
• Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) and feasibility studies for new automation use cases.
• Drive solution delivery using tools like
  Power Automate Cloud
  ,
  Power Automate Desktop
  , and
  Automation Anywhere
  .
• Ensure robust
  solution governance
  ,
  security
  , and
  CoE best practices
  across the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Conduct
  code and architecture reviews
  , ensuring solution quality, scalability, and adherence to enterprise IT standards.
• Integrate automation solutions with
  Azure services, REST APIs, AI/ML models, SharePoint, Microsoft 365
  , and third-party systems.
• Lead
  UAT
  , deployment, and production rollout processes; collaborate with stakeholders for successful go-lives.
• Mentor team members, contribute to reusable components, and foster technical excellence.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 4+ years
  as an
  Application Solution Architect
  with hands-on automation solution design experience.
• 2+ years
  of hands-on experience in
  RPA solutioning and lifecycle automation
  using
  Power Automate Cloud/Desktop
  and
  Automation Anywhere
  .
• 7+ years
  of experience in
  automation/application development
  (Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, etc.).
• Expertise in integrating
  Generative AI (OpenAI/GPT)
  with automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of
  REST APIs, JSON, OAuth
  , and modern
  design patterns
  .
• Experience in developing automation with
  OCR, Excel Advanced, SAP GUI/BAPI, Databases, Web UI, and Windows applications
  .
• Proficiency in
  Azure platforms
  , integration with
  AI/ML models
  , and
  Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
  .
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills (BRD, TDD, SDD, As-Is/To-Be, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in
  source control (Azure DevOps/GitHub)
  ,
  agile delivery
  , and
  tools like Jira and Azure DevOps
  .
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in
  software development (Angular, .NET)
  and scripting (
  PowerShell, JavaScript, Python
  ).
• Exposure to
  Automation Anywhere A360+ features
  (Credential Vault, Control Room, Bot Scheduling).
• Familiarity with
  Microsoft Fabric
  ,
  data lakehouses
  , and database modeling for automation.
• Domain knowledge in
  Semiconductors, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Operations
  .
• 3+ years in
  AI/ML model evaluation and integration
  within the
  Power Platform ecosystem
  .

Educational Qualification

• BE/BTech or MTech
  in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent from a reputed institute.
