EEST - HIL Test Engineer 2 — P Job Description : Candidate will be responsible for performing manual tests to ensure that software meets quality standards and provides an excellent user experience. This role involves testing and analysing software to prevent issues and finding the root cause before the product reaches our users. Responsibilities: Analyse system specifications and requirements and develop effective test plans. Execute manual test cases and analyse the results to ensure the UI and system behaves as expected. Record test results and maintain a database for reference and analysis. Document testing phases and defects, create logs to track issues. Report bugs and errors to development teams and assist in troubleshooting issues. Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing to ensure quality is maintained. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Stay current with the latest technologies and testing methodologies in the automotive industry Requirements: Proven 3 + experience as a QA Tester with focus on UI/API's/systems in automotive and autonomous systems Should have basic understanding of automotive and autonomous systems Basic understanding Linux systems and shell commands Basic understanding of network adapters, creating and editing networks in windows and Linux Good knowledge in handling Virtual Machines. Familiarity with Agile frameworks, regression, sanity, smoke, and build testing. Ability to document and troubleshoot errors effectively. Excellent communication skills with an attention to details
