Role Definition

  • Development of Real Time capable Engine HIL models using Physics based 1D simulation tools
  • Calibration of Models with Engine Test cell data and field data
  • Validation of Models for real world scenarios replicated in HIL bench
  • Enhancement and maintenance of existing Engine Simulation models
  • Promptly troubleshoot model problems encountered and explore alternative solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Good Knowledge of Physics based model development for powertrain
  • Knowledge of Automotive Engine and its functionalities
  • Good Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exposure to simulation tools like GT Power or AVL Cruise.
  • MATLAB, Simulink

Degree Requirement
Engineering in Mechanical and Mechatronics & Instrumentation with 5+ years of experience in the industry.

Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation.
 Level Working Knowledge: 

•    Discovers, analyzes, and resolves hardware, software or application problems.

•    Works with vendor-specific diagnostic guides, tools and utilities.

•    Handles calls related to product features, applications, and compatibility standards.

•    Analyzes code, logs, and current systems as part of advanced troubleshooting.

•    Records and reports specific technical problems, solving processes and tools that have been used.
