The Social Media Manager cum Coordinator will be responsible for managing Maharashtra Tourism Board's digital presence, ensuring high-quality content, timely execution, and effective coordination between Maxposure and client teams. The role requires a strong understanding of social media, travel content, government communication protocols, and on-ground coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end social media operations for Maharashtra Tourism's official digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Develop and implement social media content calendars, campaign plans, and digital engagement strategies.
  • Coordinate closely with the client team at Maharashtra Tourism Board for approvals, briefs, and daily communication.
  • Work with graphic designers, video teams, and content writers to ensure timely delivery of posts, reels, videos, and creatives.
  • Draft captions, check content quality, and ensure brand and government communication guidelines are followed.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to queries/comments as per protocol, and maintain a positive brand presence.
  • Execute paid social campaigns in coordination with the digital marketing team (if applicable).
  • Track performance metrics, analyse insights, and prepare weekly/monthly reports for the client.
  • Assist in handling influencer collaborations, tourism-related events, and digital amplification activities.
  • Ensure smooth coordination during tourism promotions, campaigns, and government announcements.
  • Stay updated with trends in travel, tourism, and digital media to improve content quality and engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media management; experience in tourism/government campaigns preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of digital platforms, analytics tools, and content trends.
  • Excellent communication, briefing, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work from the client site.
  • Strong understanding of travel/tourism content and visual storytelling.
  • Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
