Location: Initial Posting in Pirangut; Relocation to Shirwal after 3-4 months. (Must be ready to relocate immediately to Pirangut, and subsequently to Khandala after 3 months.)

Salary Range: ₹ 4LPA – ₹ 5 LPA

Qualifications: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 4-5 yrsas a Shift In-charge in a manufacturing environment (Must be willing to work in rotational shifts).

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Shift Supervisor to lead and manage production activities during a designated shift in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of operators and contract labourers, ensuring the effective execution of production plans, adherence to safety and quality standards, and efficient utilization of resources. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills to maintain productivity and support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and manage end-to-end production shift operations, ensuring adherence to daily schedules, production targets, and quality standards.

· Effectively allocate tasks across departments including Welding and Assembly, while also overseeing operations in Laser, Bending, Punching, and Cutting, in alignment with the production plan.

· Ensure continuous and smooth movement of materials between workstations to avoid bottlenecks.

· Assign shift roles and responsibilities to operators based on priorities and dispatch schedules.

· Monitor the availability of raw materials, components, and tools to prevent production delays.

· Raise ERP requisition slips for welding and assembly requirements; coordinate with the store team to ensure timely issuance of parts. Collaborate with the Quality Control team to identify, report, and manage product non-conformities.

· Ensure proper handover of shift-related updates and status to the incoming shift supervisor and production manager.

· Work with the Store and Dispatch departments to meet dispatch timelines and ensure accurate delivery preparation.

· Apply sound technical knowledge of welding and basic understanding of CNC, laser, punching, and bending machines to support operators and resolve issues on the shop floor.

Administrative Skills:

· Proficient in generating and managing purchase requisitions for spare parts through ERP or procurement systems.

· Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

· Well-organized and detail-oriented, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth coordination across departments.

· Self-motivated and goal-driven, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and meeting production objectives.
