Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Oracle Cloud Administrator
with strong expertise in managing
Oracle Cloud SaaS and PaaS environments
and migrating on-premises infrastructure—including Oracle Databases—to the cloud. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available Oracle Cloud solutions while ensuring compliance with industry best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical systems and lead cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimize
    Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
    and Oracle SaaS/PaaS applications.
  • Lead
    migration of on-premises infrastructure and Oracle Databases
    to Oracle Cloud.
  • Configure and manage
    Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Integration Cloud, and related services
    .
  • Implement
    backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies
    for Oracle Cloud environments.
  • Ensure
    security compliance
    : Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, SSL/TLS, and Oracle security best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using
    OCI Monitoring and third-party tools
    .
  • Maintain detailed documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot complex Oracle Cloud and database issues and perform root cause analysis.

Technical Requirements

  • Oracle Cloud Expertise:
    OCI, Oracle SaaS (ERP, HCM), Oracle PaaS (Integration Cloud, Database Cloud).
  • Database Administration:
    Oracle DB migration, performance tuning, backup/recovery.
  • Automation & IaC:
    Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
  • Networking:
    VCN, subnets, security lists, load balancers, VPN.
  • Monitoring & Logging:
    OCI Monitoring, Logging Analytics.
  • Security:
    Oracle security best practices, CIS benchmarks, encryption standards.
  • Preferred Skills:
    Linux administration, scripting (Shell, Python), Docker/Kubernetes.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional
  • Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent Linux certification

Experience

  • Minimum
    10+ years
    in IT infrastructure and Linux administration.
  • Minimum
    5+ years
    in Oracle Cloud administration and migration projects.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
