Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OnPrem and Cloud Database Administrator to join our IT team in Bangalore The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in managing databases both onpremises and in the cloud with a strong focus on MSSQL Oracle AzureSQL and MongoDB This role requires a deep understanding of database systems cloud platforms and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain databases in both onpremises and cloud environments

Monitor database performance ensure availability and reliability

Perform regular database updates patches and security configurations

Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions

Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and maintenance

Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as SQL PowerShell or PythonEnsure compliance with security policies and procedures

Troubleshoot and resolve databaserelated issues

Document database configurations processes and procedures

Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members

Required QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field7-10 years of experience in database administration

Expertise in managing MSSQL Oracle AzureSQL and MongoDB databases

Proficiency in both onpremises and cloud environments AWS AzureStrong knowledge of database design implementation and maintenance

Experience with database performance tuning and optimization

Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail

Strong scripting skills SQL PowerShell PythonAbility to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred QualificationsRelevant certifications MCSE Data Management and Analytics Oracle Certified Professional etc

Experience with cloud migration projects

Knowledge of database security best practices

Experience with monitoring tools Nagios Zabbix Prometheus
