Description

Responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing technology solutions that support trade finance operations, including Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Bills, and related instruments. This role bridges business needs with technical execution, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant platforms that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

Responsibilities

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring that all core banking systems and related IT operations comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding data integrity, managing risk, and maintaining operational resilience across banking platforms. 
  • The manager will lead compliance initiatives, conduct audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and compliant technology environments.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with IT policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., RBI, PCI-DSS, SOX).
  • Ensure core banking systems adhere to internal control frameworks and external audit standards.
  • Maintain documentation for compliance audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting.
  • Ensure system configurations, access controls, and data flows meet governance standards.
  • Lead internal and external IT audits related to core banking systems.
  • Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies for data security, access management, and system integrity.
  • Track and report compliance metrics to senior leadership.
  • Develop and update IT compliance policies and procedures.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and awareness across the organization.
  • Work closely with legal, risk, cybersecurity, and operations teams to align compliance efforts.
     
Qualifications

Qualifications: M.Tech/B.Tech Or Equivalent Bachelors Degree

Experience: 12 to 18 years
