VP Cyber Security

Role description

• Develop, execute and continuously refine the comprehensive cyber security strategy for the

region.

• Maintain a comprehensive Information Security and data privacy program ensuring compliance

and managing risks, by building capabilities in India and leveraging application / product

development teams in India

• Contribute to the development of Cyber Security programs with focus on technology and

business addressing issues related to cyber threats.

• Design and manage the Information security operations, compliance and governance by following

the sun model

• Own and implement the budget for the Information security team with Resource planning and

allocation.

• Advise and support the management and information users in the implementation of information

and Cyber Security Policy.

• Strengthening the Information security processes and practices across the organization with a

very high focus on capability developments.

• Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators and audit

parties.

• Providing strategic technology leadership and fostering collaboration with global stakeholders.
• Handling diverse facets of cybersecurity, such as Penetration Testing, Risk Management, and

Identity and Access Management (IAM). Oversee the implementation of advanced security

technologies and practices.

• Represent the organization in forums such as Information Security Forums and Computer

Emergency Response Teams (CERT). Skills

• A minimum 20+ years of progressive experience in cyber security and information assurance

particularly within the banking and finance sectors.

• Proficient in overseeing key domains of cybersecurity such as Penetration Testing, Risk

Management, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Technology Leadership, with

extensive experience collaborating with global stakeholders.

• Experience in running security operations center and handling high priority security incidents
• Prior experience of leading in a technology organization at scale
• Strategy formulation and execution and the ability to lead and influence in a highly matrix

environment

• Extensive knowledge of security / regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, ISF and PCI

DSS.

• Wide experience in serving as the senior technology leader of multiple security technology

initiatives with consultative skills to identify and design security solutions that protect the

availability, integrity, and confidentiality of information while enabling business growth.

• Extensive understanding of Cyber Security with experience in developing, implementing and

maintaining processes towards protection of computer systems (hardware and software) and

networks.

• Deep Application Security and Cloud Security Knowledge and Experience.
• Awareness of Global and Local Information Regularity Compliance for instance PCI DSS, FISMA,

GLBA, HIPAA etc..

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, and/or equivalent

military experience. Other details

• Experience with advanced threat detection and risk management technologies
• Experience in the captive sector with exposure to the banking and financial services domain;

specifically in the Merchant acquiring and cards business domain

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in internet perimeter hacking, reverse engineering, and security operation

control management

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc
