Working as a core member of our engineering team in Mumbai, you will contribute to the planning, verification, and execution of subsea engineering scopes across a diverse portfolio of offshore energy projects. In this role, you will work on the design, analysis, and installation of subsea systems—including pipelines, risers, spools, umbilicals, and subsea equipment. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to support Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) projects.

What will you be doing?

• Undertake MWS engineering review of documents associated with the loadout, transportation and installation of subsea structures and equipment.
• Contribute to engineering design, calculations and analysis for designs of various subsea engineering elements in accordance with international codes and standards.
• Review or perform concept and detailed design analysis of various subsea structures.
• Lead or assist projects and ensure that clients receive an optimum level of service to pre-agreed time frames, costs and quality standards.
• Participate in design reviews, audits and subsea engineering, transportation and installation related reviews.
• Prepare working forecasts, schedules identify change management plans, and corrective action where necessary for your projects.
• Assist with preparation of proposals for bids and tender input.
• Responsible for the execution of projects and deliverables in accordance with quality and HSE standards.
• Ensure all deliverables is carried out in accordance with ABL Group policies and procedures.
• Liaise with clients to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide training, mentoring and motivation to junior Engineers and personnel new to the subsea systems analyses and design as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?
Ideally, You Will Be An Experienced Subsea Engineer With a Proven Background Of Working On The Transport And Installation Of Subsea Structures Such As Pipelines, Risers, Spools And Umbilicals. More Specifically, We Are Looking For The Following

• Educated to degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• In depth knowledge of industry standards and codes and the ability to apply standards to subsea structural analysis and designs.
• Full understanding of codes and standards for loadout, transportation and installation of subsea structures and equipment.
• Experience with OFFPIPE and OrcaFlex is essential. Experience with MOSES is beneficial.
• MWS experience on loadout, transportation and engineering documentation associated of subsea assets for close out is desirable.

Further Information
This position will be based at our office in Mumbai.
You must have the right to legally live and work in India.
The job holder will be expected to undertake onshore and offshore assignments. You might need to spend an extended period away from work on multi-week deployments.
