What will you do at Ciena?

Learn:

  • SD-WAN and Multi-Cloud secure connections
  • Cloud-based firewalls, IDS & IPS
  • Enterprise Core Routing & Switch
  • Enterprise Wi-Fi & BLE
  • Remote Access

Implement:

  • Products – Ciena, VeloCloud, Zscaler, Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5
  • Cloud – Azure, AWS, OCI Interconnections, Firewalls & Web Application Firewalls

Operational Support:

  • Participate 24x7 scheduled On-call rotation
  • Handle trouble ticket escalations from Service Desk, other IT teams or Business Units
  • Drive escalations to resolution with technologies vendors
  • Own Root Cause Analysis and Long-Term Fix

Automation:

  • Orchestration & Configuration Management – Terraform & Ansible

Documentation:

  • Generate & maintain via Sharepoint Online and JIRA

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • B.S. degree computer science, related degree or relevant experience
  • 1 - 5 years concentrated experience in the area of IT Network Infrastructure
  • Require active working experience with routing, switching, Wi-Fi, or firewalls solutions
  • Cisco, Juniper or Aruba certifications desired, but not required
  • Knowledge of Azure, AWS or OCI is a plus
