Production Sr. Manager

General Responsibilities:

Key responsibility is to oversee manufacturing process within Company to ensure that production

lines runs reliably & efficiently with minimum downtime. Planning and organizing production schedules

to meet customer requirements.

Specific Responsibilities:

Define, propose & implement annual production

Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime

Drive productivity through process efficiency and timely machine maintenance

Cost saving initiatives to be driven without compromise on quality

Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines

Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product

safety or integrity

Define production goals and key KPI's for each production unit

Manage all teams within production department including contract employees

Focus on growing business and revenue by implementing necessary changes to product and

production line to enter new markets or grow existing lines

Should have hands on experience in various production operations

Education and Experience Requirements:

years of experience in a similar position; experience with operations preferred

Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred

Experience in operational excellence like lean is an added plus point

Experience working with cross functional teams

Exposure to labour laws & managing team of around 300 employees

Strong problem-solving techniques, analytical ability and detailed oriented

Working with global team is an added advantage

Working well with external suppliers

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP

Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Being results & deadline driven
