Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement automation scripts using shell scripting (e.g., Bash, Ksh).
  • Automate various IT operations, system administration tasks, and deployment processes.
  • Automate PostgreSQL database activities, including monitoring, maintenance, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements.
  • Perform thorough testing and debugging of automation scripts to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and scripts.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting for automated processes to ensure smooth operation.
  • Document automation solutions, including design specifications, usage guides, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation practices and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated processes.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Ksh).
