Role Description:


• Drive business development by securing new 3PL and warehousing contracts across Central India.


• Prepare competitive bids, pricing models, and proposals to win new accounts.


• Identify and engage potential 3PL customers, update opportunities in the sales pipeline, and ensure conversion into revenue.


• Collect and analyse market information (customer needs, competition, traffic mix) to shape effective sales strategies.


• Provide weekly sales reports and performance comparisons to management.


• Review current strategies, recommend improvements, and support decision-making with actionable insights.


• Build long-term relationships and close deals with new customers requiring 3PL and warehousing solutions.


• Contribute to overall business growth through regular participation in weekly and monthly reviews.


• Collaborate with operations, finance, and HR teams to align resources with business requirements.


• Drive adoption of technology tools (WMS, CRM) for better visibility and efficiency in warehousing and transport.


• Take ownership of regional P&L targets, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.


• Work as a forward-looking leader, planning for future market trends and aligning company strategy accordingly.


• Explore new solutions such as EV logistics, green warehousing, and value-added services to differentiate DELBY in the market.


• Report progress, achievements, and key challenges consistently to the reporting manager.

Qualifications

  • Skills in New Business Development and Sales
  • Expertise in Business Planning and Business Relationship Management
  • Proficiency in Contract Negotiation
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a must
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred
