We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our social media accounts, creating engaging content, editing videos, designing eye-catching graphics, and supporting our overall digital marketing efforts. This role requires someone who can blend creativity with strategy to boost our online presence and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor daily activity across company social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging posts, stories, and reels that align with brand guidelines and campaigns
  • Edit videos for social media, ensuring high-quality, platform-optimized formats
  • Design visually appealing graphics, banners, and promotional materials for digital campaigns
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns
  • Track social media analytics and prepare performance reports
  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
  • Respond to comments, messages, and community interactions in a timely, brand-consistent manner

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing business social media accounts
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Strong video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with current social media trends and content strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with paid advertising campaigns on social media
  • Photography skills for content creation
  • Basic copywriting and storytelling skills
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing fundamentals
