Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop POWER FACTOR CORRECTION applications.

• Participate in the full cycle of product development and delivery, including design, modeling, simulation, and experimental testing and validation.

• Develop, integrate, and validate charging systems for electric and hybrid vehicle applications.

Job Description

• Develop AC-DC and DC-DC applications

• Model and analyze circuits and controls of chargers.

• Test and debug high-power medium-voltage power electronics chargers.

• Must have experience in coding with embedded C/C++.

• RTOS concepts, including tasks, queues, mutexes and semaphores (Arduino experience not included).

• Designing and developing embedded systems and integrating electronics.

• Firmware debugging using integrated development environments (IDEs) like visual studio code.

• Proficiency in C and C++ programming with strong understanding of embedded programming principles with circuit simulations

• Experience with various communication interfaces such as UART, I2C, and SPI.

• Familiarity with microcontrollers (e.g. AVR, ARM) and development boards preferred.

• Willingness to learn single-board computers like Beagle Bone and Raspberry Pi.

• Basic knowledge of Robot Operating System (ROS) a plus.

• Experience in the design and selection of power semiconductor parts, cooling mechanisms, passive components, protection circuits, and sensing circuits.

• Experience with the battery charger development cycle.

• Understanding of PCB layout design for medium voltage ranges.

• Familiarity with typical safety/EMI/environmental standards for power converter systems.

• Familiarity with EMC requirements and filter design.

• Understanding of hardware-mechanical and hardware-software interfaces.

• Understanding of fundamental analytical equations and inductor and transformer design.

• Understanding of converter controls specification and design.

• Must have a very strong ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple global vendors and teams.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Electronics (M.Sc./M.Tech) Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Power System, Mechatronics or a related field with excellent academics.

• RTOS concepts, including tasks, queues, mutexes and semaphores (Arduino experience not included).

• Designing and developing embedded systems and integrating electronics.
