Job Description Adobe Target Implementation & Personalization Specialist

Job Title: Adobe Target Implementation Specialist / Personalization Engineer

Experience: 3–8 Years

Department: Digital Marketing & Analytics Team / Digital Experience / Personalization

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Adobe Target across web and mobile environments.
  • Configure A/B, MVT, Experience Targeting, Automated Personalization, and Recommendations campaigns.
  • Build, test, and deploy personalized experiences using VEC (Visual Experience Composer) and Form-based composer.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate Target with Adobe Launch / Web SDK, ensuring correct parameter and mbox configuration.
  • Define personalization strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and user behavior insights.
  • Manage audience segmentation and integrate Target with AEP / RTCDP / Analytics for data activation.
  • Perform campaign QA, troubleshoot issues, and validate experiment setup using debugging tools.
  • Optimize targeting logic and analyze experiment results to drive conversion improvement.
  • Ensure implementation follows data governance, security, and privacy best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–8 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Target implementation and personalization.
  • Strong technical understanding of mbox, profile scripts, offer templates, entity attributes, and Recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Launch / Web SDK, JavaScript, HTML, CSS for customization and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in configuring Experience Targeting, Auto-Target, Automated Personalization, and Recommendations.
  • Experience reading experimentation results and conversion metrics.
  • Familiarity with other Adobe stack components like AEP, RTCDP, Adobe Analytics is a strong advantage.
  • Understanding of CRO methodologies and personalization tactics.
  • Experience working with UX, CRO, product, and engineering teams in an agile setup.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adobe Target Business Practitioner / Developer Certification.
  • Experience with APIs, JSON, React/Vue/Angular environments.
  • Understanding of server-side testing and feature flag solutions.
  • Experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, CRO, or growth engineering.
