With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we're driving major missions forward. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Lead – Accounts Payable to oversee our accounts payable operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, excellent communication skills, strong Excel proficiency, and prior experience in leading a team of 5 or more individuals.
The role involves managing day-to-day AP functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and streamlining processes for efficiency. Key Responsibilities:Lead and supervise the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Monitor AP operations to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Review vendor reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as Commercial and Commercial-Ops for efficient workflow.
Utilize MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and process improvements. What you'll need:4+ years of experience in a similar role. Hands-on experience managing external/internal audits, general ledger ownership, intercompany accounting, and month-end close cycles.
Strong working knowledge of O2C (Order to Cash), P2P (Procure to Pay), and R2R (Record to Report) processes. Practical experience in preparing financials under IFRS, along with notes and disclosures. Proven ability to manage and mentor junior team members, delegate responsibilities, and foster accountability.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—confident in presenting to senior management and collaborating across departments. Proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement, automation, and operational excellence.
