KEY ACCOUNTABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Hands on working knowledge in following Electrical & ELV Design field:
  • Selecting the location of load centre & captive power generation station.
  • Estimation of maximum electrical load demand and segregation into individual load centres as per suitability
  • Preparation of detailed Electrical & ELV Single Line Diagram with all required details.
  • Deciding of voltage level as per Maximum demand estimation.
  • Selection of Transformer/DG capacity and number with necessary metering &protection.
  • Short circuit fault level & voltage drop calculation at each level of distribution.
  • Selection of HT & LT switchgear based on breaking, making & short time capacity.
  • Selection of HT & LT cables based on thermal, short circuit & voltage drop capacity.
  • Preparation of Detailed Bill of Quantities and take off sheets for quantities estimation
  • Hands on experience of relevant IS/BS/IEC/IEEE/NEC/NFPA standards for design
  • Hands on experience of using ETAP/Dialux/etc ready softwares.
  • Shall review GA/sectional drawings of HT & LT switch board and busbar sizing.
  • Design of earthing & lightning protection system.
  • Design of fire safety in substation, cable trenches and other parts of electrical system.
  • Preparation of Power & Control cable schedule and Cable trench layout.
  • Design & preparation of DG & Main LT electrical room layout.
  • Design of lighting, Power & UPS layout with distribution scheme.
  • Review of Coordinated Cable tray & raceways layout with detailed sections.
  • Study of proposal documents, tender working and BOQ preparation
  • Familiarisation with Electrical & ELV Cost estimation will be an added advantage.
