Site Electrical Engineer
Position Overview
The Lift Installation Site Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of elevators/lifts at client sites. The role requires coordination with site teams, contractors, and clients to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality installation as per company standards and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Execute electrical installation of lifts, including wiring, cabling, panel installation, and control system connections.
Conduct testing and commissioning of elevator systems (manual and automatic).
Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults during and after installation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, IS/IEC codes, and company guidelines.
Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams for smooth progress of site work.
Prepare and maintain site reports, checklists, and documentation.
Train site technicians and support staff on safe installation practices.
Interact with clients, consultants, and inspectors for approvals and inspections.
Report project progress and issues to the Project Manager.
Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in lift/elevator installation or industrial electrical projects (freshers may be considered for trainee roles).
Knowledge of lift control panels, drives, PLCs, and wiring diagrams.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with safety standards and use of electrical measuring instruments.
Skills Required
Technical knowledge of elevator systems (electrical + basic mechanical).
Site supervision and team coordination.
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings.
Effective communication with clients and site teams.
Commitment to safety, quality, and deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10, ₹35,000.00 per month
