Job Purpose:

To provide administrative and technical support for maintaining the records, documentation, and data management of the Plant & Machinery department, ensuring accurate tracking of equipment, maintenance schedules, and operational reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update daily records of machinery movement, utilization, and downtime.
  • Prepare machinery deployment and maintenance schedules in coordination with site teams.
  • Enter and update data in Excel related to machinery, fuel consumption, repairs, and spare parts.
  • Assist in maintaining logbooks, calibration certificates, and service records of all equipment.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly machinery performance reports.
  • Coordinate with the store, accounts, and HR for machinery-related documentation (diesel reports, operator attendance, etc.).
  • Maintain digital and physical filing systems for all P&M documents.
  • Support the Plant Incharge in preparing MIS, vendor bills, and maintenance summaries.
  • Ensure timely communication of breakdowns and repairs to management.
  • Handle correspondence and documentation related to plant insurance, registration, and renewals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate / Diploma in Computer Applications or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in Plant & Machinery / Construction / Equipment handling department preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good typing and data entry accuracy.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping ability.
  • Communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and time management.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based role with coordination across sites and workshops.
  • May require occasional visits to plant yard or project sites for data verification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12, ₹18,000.00 per month
