Beautician Location: Anna Nagar Reports To: Salon Manager / Owner
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and professional Beautician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a range of beauty treatments and focused on providing excellent customer service. As a Beautician, you will be responsible for enhancing clients' appearances through various techniques such as skincare, hair removal, and makeup application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide beauty services including:
- Facials and skincare treatments
- Waxing/threading
- Manicures and pedicures
- Hair styling, cutting, and coloring (if applicable)
- Makeup application for events or daily wear
- Eyebrow and eyelash treatments
- Assess clients' skin types and recommend suitable treatments
- Recommend and sell appropriate skincare and beauty products
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of workstations and tools
- Stay updated with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
- Adhere to all safety, health, and hygiene regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Beautician or in a similar role
- Certification in Cosmetology or Beauty Therapy from a recognized institution
- Knowledge of a wide range of beauty techniques and treatments
- Up-to-date with latest beauty trends and treatments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Experience with bridal makeup or advanced skin treatments
- Knowledge of massage therapy or spa treatments
- Sales experience in beauty products
