This large-scale initiative includes the development of state-of-the-art EV and hybrid vehicle manufacturing facilities, with a target of producing over 500,000 electric cars and 100,000 commercial vehicles annually, while generating more than 5,200 new jobs. Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Civil & Structural Engineer with 12 to 20 years of experience in the automotive industry to oversee the setup of a new automotive manufacturing facility from scratch. The individual will be responsible for review designing, planning, and executing all civil and structural steel works including PEB involved in building and commissioning the facility.

This includes managing site preparation, structural design, construction oversight, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities:Design & Planning:Lead the design and planning of all civil and structural works for Automobile EV project-General assembly shop

Body shop

Paint shop

Stamping shop

Officesyard, roads etc. Collaborate with architects, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering teams to create a cohesive and efficient facility layout. Construction & Site Management:Oversee onsite construction activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards for civil and structural works.

Ensure proper coordination with contractors, suppliers, and site teams to meet project goals and resolve any site specific issues. Compliance & Documentation:Ensure that all designs, construction activities, and materials comply with local regulations, industry codes, and environmental guidelines. Maintain detailed documentation, including design calculations, construction reports, and regulatory compliance records, for internal and external audits.

Project Coordination & Team Leadership:Coordinate with the project management team and other departments to ensure seamless integration of civil and structural work with overall plant setup activities. Lead and mentor a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring efficient project execution and troubleshooting during all phases of construction. Cost & Resource Management:Prepare and review cost estimates for civil and structural aspects of the plant setup, ensuring alignment with the overall project budget.

Monitor the procurement and use of materials, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and preventing any delays due to resource shortages. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure that civil and structural works meet health, safety, and environmental standards. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards, mitigating risks and ensuring a safe working environment.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement:Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to civil or structural work, ensuring minimal disruption to the project schedule. Proactively identify areas for process improvement and suggest innovative methods to enhance efficiency and quality in the construction of the facility. Qualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's Degree is a plus).

Experience: 10 to 20 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry. Proven experience in managing largescale civil and structural projects including PEB, from planning to execution, with a focus on industrial facilities. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, structural engineering, quality checks, fabrication & erection of PEB works, design, construction methods, and site management.

Previous experience in working on greenfield projects (building from scratch) is highly desirable. Location - Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (AURANGABAD) : Temp Location - Mumbai
