Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chartered Accountant located in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing financial statements, preparing budgets, conducting internal audits, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and overseeing financial reporting. The role also involves scrutinizing ledger books, improving the company's financial processes, and coordinating with external auditors as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills, including preparing financial statements and managing accounts.
- Proficiency in auditing, financial analysis, and compliance with taxation laws.
- Expertise in ledger book scrutiny and accounting software such as Tally, ERP, or similar platforms.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with auditors and stakeholders.
- Chartered Accountant certification (CA) is mandatory.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing or chemical industry is a plus.
