Role & responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the purchase department for all project-related procurement activities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors for civil, MEP, finishing, and infra works.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely procurement.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budget.
  • Track material consumption and coordinate with site teams and project heads for timely replenishment.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
  • Maintain and update purchase records, contracts, and documentation for audit and reporting.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and develop strong vendor relationships.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and cost control.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in procurement/purchase within the real estate or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor markets, and industry benchmarks.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, ERP, and procurement software.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
